Meet Dr. Torin Chenard
Dr. Torin Chenard has ten years of experience as an orthodontist. His favorite part of being an orthodontist is seeing his patients' faces when they hear that they are getting their braces removed. It is something that he is truly proud to be a part of.
Dr. Chenard was born in Massachusetts, and moved to Southern California with his family when he was five years old. He spent the rest of his childhood years growing up in Southern California. He attended UCSD for his undergraduate studies where he majored in biology and completed a minor in Spanish literature. He then attended UCLA for dental school and attained his dental license in 2003.
Next, Dr. Chenard went on to do a TMJD fellowship at University of Rochester in New York. In 2006, he completed his orthodontics residency program, also at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Chenard also does work as a general dentist from time to time with dental outreach missions. He has done dental mission trips to Nepal, Costa Rica, and Mexico, and he continues to look for more opportunities to volunteer abroad. Dr. Chenard speaks Spanish, and enjoys travelling to countries where he can use his Spanish skills.
In his free time, Dr. Chenard enjoys surfing, mountain biking, and free diving.
